.: Hughie

Hughie is our 1926 'Bullnose' Morris Oxford closed car.

The 'Bullnose' Morris Oxford is steeped in history, being the first car ever produced by Morris. Early models, like Hughie, were known unofficially known as 'Bullnose' Morris Oxfords, a name born out of the shape of the radiator.

One of only ten closed cars left in the UK, Hughie is definitely a rarity on the roads.

Described as "simply breath taking", Hughie is certainly a splendid car and a step inside reveals the true qualities of this magnificent 1920s saloon.

Hughie is a coach built car, produced in a factory of skilled craftsmen and upholsterers. He has some qualities as found in a horse drawn carriage, such as the sounds when closing a door.

In 2002 Hughie returned to the road after a full nut and bolt restoration and we lovingly care for him to keep him in show condition. In June last year, Hughie won 1st Prize at Lytham Club Day.
